Potter Fever

Well, this post is a little late, considering I only joined today. But I have decided to commemorate my first blog with the mention of something coming to a close. Harry Potter. I have been a fan since I was really little, I always wanted to be a wizard, the Harry Potter series was my favourite book of all! Me and my friends went to the premier at a local bookstore. At midnight, the store was packed, from one wall to the other there was one big line. I saw a bunch of people and we hung out while we waited, but we were all sorta out of it.We finally got our books, and hurried away, back to our house. I was sleeping over at my neighbors, she hadn’t quite finished the sixth book, so in the end, I sat up alone, by the light of my NDS, and read the last book. It was depressing at some points, I had to put the book down every once and a while to go do something cheerful (Pokemon Diamond). A bunch of people died, a couple maimed. I finally fell asleep at six, just as the sky got brighter. I finished the book later that night. My parents were out at the movies, when I closed the book, and sat back, thinking. I will not kid you, I cried little. But not for the reason you would think. It was, the end of an era, most of my childhood. And I was turning the last page on it. But at the same time, I was laughing, quite crazily. I will miss Harry Potter, and I will keep my books for a very long time, and when I have kids, I will bring these books out and let them read a story that the whole world loved.

(Spoiler Alert)

He lives! He lives he lives he lives he lives! And he has kids! It was, I think the best ending she could have made.
